The purpose of the building work was to restore all the external structural pillars of the Palacio de la Luz.

Comment of the Site Manager:

The building was inaugurated in 1951. In 1993 it was taken by a big fire, which affected mainly its upper floors and caused important damages both to its structure and to its appearance.

To restore the structural pillars, it was necessary to work on the top floors, for which lifting equipment was needed, as well as working platforms that were specially designed at Ebital.
